We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Audit Reviewer to join our auditing team. As a Reviewer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of audit reports in compliance with WIETA (Wine and Agricultural Ethical Trade Association) and SIZA (The Sustainability Initiative of South Africa) standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate social compliance audit reports for accuracy and
    adherence to scheme standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to Lead Auditors and audit
    teams.
  • Ensure all audits meet the highest quality standards and regulatory
    requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in social compliance auditing, offering guidance
    to the audit team.

 

Qualifications and Competencies

Education:

  • A 2-3 year tertiary qualification in Law, Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, or Agriculture.
  • Recognition of prior learning will be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience.

Certification:

  • APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) in good standing.
  • Preference will be given to individuals who are already approved Lead Auditor under WIETA and/or SIZA schemes.
  • APSCA Membership Number and Level must be provided.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification work experience (preferably 3 years in Primary Agriculture).
  • Extensive auditing experience:
    Documented audit logs signed off by audit firms (if available).

Technical Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
