Sales and Marketing Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Commodity Inspections at Taguig, Philippines for SALES & MARKETING OFFICER.
As a Sales & Marketing Officer, your main responsibility is for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a focus on business development in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.

Tasks and responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities within key industries.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical) to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote services and brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Manage social media platforms and create content for digital marketing efforts.
- Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Monitor marketing metrics and generate reports to assess campaign effectiveness.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain a CRM database to track leads, opportunities, and client communications.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring compliance with the company’s terms and conditions.
Sectors & Business
- Certifications for key sectors like agri, food, tourism, textile, forestry, fisheries, sustainability and many others.
- Inspections for commodities and products like grains, oils, minerals, food and fruit products.
- Testing for commodities and products like grains, oils, food, water, etc..
Others
- Perform business to the highest standards of ethics
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned in relation to Sales and Marketing role.
Requirements
- Graduate of any four (4) year course
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales and Marketing position preferably in the TIC industry
- Experience with writing marketing/commercial texts
- Design experience and familiarity with digital (social media) marketing and Google Adwords would be advantageous
- Affinity with Agriculture and Food would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel frequently
