Reviewer - Dyes & Chemical Certifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Certifications at Dhaka, Bangladesh for REVIEWER – DYES & CHEMICALS.

As a Reviewer – You will be responsible for report assessment, pre and post audit activities.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Review and assess chemical formulations, SDS (Safety Data Sheets), and supporting documentation submitted by chemical manufacturers and suppliers for certification approval.
• Perform technical analysis and risk assessment of chemical substances and formulations.
• Provide detailed technical reports to support certification decisions.
• Coordinating with clients, auditors and assisting making certification decision to certifiers.
• Maintaining a good relationship with the clients.
• Maintaining contact with the certifier on a regular basis;
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which audits and certifications are carried out.

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering and/ or BSC in Chemistry
• Extensive knowledge of Textile/ Applied Chemistry
• Having 1-2 years’ work experience at a chemical manufacturing company will get preference.
• Proficiency in textile chemical standards (e.g. GOTS, ZDHC)
• Good analytical & documentation skills
• Good command in English (Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening)
• Effective communication & stakeholder management skills Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel extensively anywhere in the country
