Manager - ICT Operations

An exciting opportunity has arisen at IT at Navi Mumbai, India for MANAGER – ICT OPERATIONS.
As the Manager – ICT Operations you will be managing the delivery of the ICT Operations and support function in the Asia region. The position requires strong technical and collaborative skills. Applicants must have vast experience of service delivery & project management alongwith relevant ICT Operational qualifications.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Aligning ICT Objectives with Business Objectives
- Regional ICT Operations Budget
- Regional ICT forward planning including:
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Identifying and managing resource requirements
- Ensuring systems are maintained in line with company security and operational requirements
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Providing ops support for Development and Data projects in the region
- Liaising with Business Stakeholders on ICT requirements
- Liaising with Local ICT support “in country” and 3rd party ICT support.
- Providing input to Group ICT strategy
- 3rd level Technical support
- Implementing and operating team communications plan
- Guiding and managing development of Subordinate team member skills
As a regional representative in the Global ICT Team:
- Contributing to thought leadership for groupwide concerns
- Coordinating regional execution of shared projects
- Identifying emerging technologies that may be beneficial to the group
- Contributing to and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
Requirements
- Diploma/ Graduate in Engineering (IT/ CS/ ETC/ EE or relevant field)
- Minimum 6 years of service delivery & project management experience
- Knowledge and experience of infrastructure and applications (networking, servers, storage, security, monitoring)
- Product skills for
- Microsoft Windows systems and networking
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Azure
- VMWare
- Cisco Meraki
- Strategic thinking, decision-making and targeting goals
- Team Management
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience
