An exciting opportunity has arisen at Taguig & Davao, Philippines for MANAGER – COMMERCIAL TRAINING DIVISION.

As a Manager – Commercial Training Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of training programs that support the commercial objectives of the organization. This role involves managing a team of trainers, developing training content, and ensuring that training initiatives are aligned with business goals. The candidate will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Tasks and responsibilities

  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and manage the Commercial Training Division team, including trainers and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the training division to align with organizational goals.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
  1. Training Program Development:
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for commercial teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Ensure training programs are up-to-date, relevant, and effective in meeting the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create specialized training modules.
  1. Training Delivery:
  • Oversee the delivery of training programs, ensuring consistency and quality across all sessions.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
  • Ensure trainers are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary resources and materials.
  1. Evaluation and Improvement:
  • Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously update and enhance training programs based on feedback and industry best practices.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Prepare and manage the budget for the Commercial Training Division.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure training programs are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to identify training needs and align training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external training providers and industry experts.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports on training program performance and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least two (2) years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for commercial teams
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) would be advantageous
