Manager – Commercial Training Division

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Taguig & Davao, Philippines for MANAGER – COMMERCIAL TRAINING DIVISION.
As the Manager of the Commercial Training Division you are responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of training programs that support the commercial objectives of the organization. This role involves managing a team of trainers, developing training content, growing our training services and ensuring that training initiatives are aligned with business goals. The Manager will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. The role also requires alignment and harmonization with the Control Union Global Academy team, our own bespoke e-learning platform for customers and colleagues.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage the Commercial Training Division team, including trainers and support staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the training division to align with organizational goals and grown the overall trainings business and services.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
- Training Program Development:
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including the sales, marketing, and customer services of our training division.
- Ensure training programs are up-to-date, relevant, and effective in meeting the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create specialized training modules.
- Collaborate with the Global Academy to share best practices, resources and ensure consistency in content quality
- Training Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of training programs, ensuring consistency and quality across all sessions.
- Utilize a variety of training methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.
- Ensure trainers are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary resources and materials.
- Evaluation and Improvement:
- Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously update and enhance training programs based on feedback and industry best practices
- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the budget for the Commercial Training Division.
- Drive sales for the training services that we provide.
- Monitor expenses and ensure training programs are delivered within budgetary constraints
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to identify training needs and align training initiatives with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with external training providers and industry experts.
- Collaboration with the Control Union Global Academy team
- Act as a liaison between the APAC region and the Global Academy, fostering collaboration and information exchange.
- Participate in global working groups or committees to contribute country insights and stay informed about global E-learning strategies and emerging technologies.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on training program performance and present findings to senior management
8. Reporting and Documentation:
- Attend webinars, exhibitions and other events to promote our training services
- Any other related task assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements
Educational Background and working experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least two (2) years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for commercial teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in using training software and tools
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus
