Junior Executive - Scheme Management (Food Safety Certifications)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Certifications at Navi Mumbai, India for JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – SCHEME MANAGEMENT (FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS).

As a Junior Executive – Scheme Management for Food Safety Certifications, you will be responsible for the application of food safety and regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication skills. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of the food and feed producing industry. You will be responsible for the document review and assist Certifier & Program Manager for overall programme administration and management of Food Safety programs.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Client communication, contracting activities and co-ordination
• Reviewing non-conformities, findings and audit reports, as part of technical review during certification process in food and feed safety programs
• Verification and review of documents
• Pre-processing certification decisions
• Internal coordination and communication with CU offices in APAC region
• Maintaining good relations with the clients
• Collaborate with global and regional scheme coordinators
• Assisting in documentation/training of programme management and new schemes
• Assistance with handling of claims & appeals
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to food-feed and related sectors

Requirements

• Graduate in Food Science/ Food Technology or minimum Bio Sciences related education
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Food Manufacturing, Food Laboratory, or Certification Body
• Certified Internal Auditor for HACCP
• Lead Auditor Course for (ISO22000/FSSC/BRCGS Food safety) would be advantageous
• Experience and knowledge of food safety certification schemes, related regulations
• Experience of documentation in any management system or product certification program & knowledge of ISO17025, 17021 would be added advantage
• Enthusiastic, quick to learn with good inter-personal and organizational skills
• Good command of English: in speech and in writing
• Self-reliant and able to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent report writing, presentation skills
• Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
