Client Relationship Manager (West) - Textile Certifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Certifications at Navi Mumbai, India for CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (WEST) – TEXTILE CERTIFICATIONS.

As the Client Relationship Manager (West) for Textile Certifications, you will be responsible for managing client concerns, ensure timely certification renewals, identify new business opportunities, track outstanding payments, and maintain long-term client relationships. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants must have a flair for client-servicing and relationship.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new clients in the region
• Track certification expiry dates and secure renewals 3 months in advance
• Ensure client engagement from onboarding to renewal
• Conduct market share analysis to track trends and growth opportunities
• Maintain and analyze lists of top 100 clients (own and competitors’) based on revenue, size, and transactions of certified goods
• Attend industry meetings, seminars, and conferences to generate leads
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
• Track and manage payment follow-ups throughout the client lifecycle
• Provide regular updates on client status, renewals, and business activities
• Maintain detailed records of client meetings and interactions

Requirements

• Graduate in Textiles or related field or Graduate in any field with experience in Textile Supply Chain
• 4 – 8 years of experience in client relationship management/ marketing/sales
• Experience of certification industry would be advantageous
• In depth understanding of Textile Supply Chain and understanding of different sustainability certifications programs such as GOTS, OCS, CCS, GRS etc
• Proficient in English and local regional language: in speech and in writing
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel extensively anywhere in the country
