Auditor - Textiles

Exciting opportunities have arisen at Textile Certifications at New Delhi & Tirupur, India for AUDITOR- TEXTILES.

As an Auditor – Textiles you will be responsible for the application of organic and sustainable textile and regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. The position requires strong communication. Applicants must have good knowledge of the textile industry. You will be initiating and conducting on site audit activities at our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Executing audits (as per ISO 19011 requirements) and sampling
• Verification and review of documents
• Reporting audit results
• Conducting audit follow-up
• Maintaining good relation with the clients
• Responding to function-related requests from clients
• Internal coordination and coordinating with the clients
• Assistance with handling of claims & appeals
• Maintaining upto date files in the system + hardcopy as per procedures
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to textiles and related sectors
• Extensive travel (up to 20-25 days in a month) across India

Requirements

• Graduate in Textile Technology/ Textile Manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Textile or related industry
• Experience and knowledge of certification schemes would be an added advantage
• Experience and knowledge of auditing principles, practice and techniques would be an added advantage
• Basic awareness or LA in SA8000/ ISO 14001/ ISO45001 would be our preference
• Good command of English: in speech and in writing
• Excellent report writing, presentation skills
• Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
• Accurate in observations and reporting
• Systematic and analytical way of working
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel extensively (upto 15-20 days per month) across India
