Both Singapore and Sentosa have achieved GSTC-Certified status as sustainable destinations from a GSTC-Accredited Certification Body, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable tourism practices.
The conference and pre-conference training will be held at the Equarius Hotel in Resorts World Sentosa, the first destination in the world to be certified against both GSTC Destination Criteria and GSTC Industry Criteria for Hotels.

The GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) is a non-governmental organization established in 2007 with the support of UNEP – United Nations Environment Programme – and UNWTO – United Nations World Tourism Organization – to promote sustainability and social responsibility in the tourism sector.
