Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), often referred to as “Good Agricultural Practice” or “Good Agriculture Practice,” are a set of principles and guidelines aimed at ensuring the safe, sustainable, and responsible production of agricultural products. These practices are designed to promote food safety, environmental sustainability, and the well-being of farmers, workers, and consumers.
GLOBALG.A.P.
The GLOBALG.A.P. standard enhances good agricultural practices and reassures consumers about how food is produced on the farm. This is done by minimising the detrimental environmental impacts of farming operations, reducing the use of chemicals and ensuring a responsible approach to worker health and safety and animal welfare. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by RVA for this scheme under registration nr. RvA-C412 Products. The scope includes the critical offices in Ethiopia, Hungary, Israel, Peru, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

FSA – Farm Sustainability Assessment
Farm Sustainability Assessment, a tool from the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative to engage, assess and improve the sustainability practices at farm level. Control Union is a global service provider for the agricultural industry and officially approved by SAI Platform to perform Farmer Sustainability Assessments (FSA).
